For Phil, coaching has never been simply about making people stronger. It’s about understanding what holds them back and giving them the knowledge, confidence and tools to move beyond it.
His journey began in competitive American Football, where he became a German and European Vice Champion. During his early playing career, he also trained in physiotherapy, developing a deep understanding of human movement and performance.
Multiple US scholarship opportunities followed before serious injuries and six surgeries changed his athletic path. His own rehabilitation further shaped his approach to strength development and injury management.
Having coached American Football since the age of 18, Phil built his coaching career in Germany before moving to Bali, where he has spent over three years developing athletes, mentoring coaches and delivering strength and conditioning programs.
Known for his technical precision, patience and approachable personality, Phil combines high standards with genuine personal attention, helping athletes feel understood, supported and challenged.
